About

Hello and welcome to my new project.  My name is Joe and most of you might already know me from my other blogs, The Visual Chronicle or maybe our collaborative black and white only photoblog Monochromia. I will display color and black and white images on X-tended Vision. Unlike The Visual Chronicle there will be no set posting schedule or tutorials. When I have an image worth sharing I will post it.

The X in the title of my blog signifies my switch to Fuji X cameras. Being a long time Nikon user (over 30 years) I am looking forward to exploring the more compact form factor of the Fuji’s and mirrorless camera technology in general. I am also sure my back will appreciate the lighter weight also. I am hoping the transition will go smoothly but if I encounter any hiccups along the way I’ll be sure to let you know. I know I am leaving some features behind that I have grown accustomed to on the Nikons but on the flip side I am gaining other features with the Fuji’s that might be more suited to my type of photography.

I hope all of you will enjoy this blog no matter what type of camera you are using and follow me on my journey into the unknown.

If you would like to follow my blog please scroll to the top of any page and click the icon in the top center (yup, the black one with three white lines).

You can also follow me on twitter @XtdVision
Or on Instagram @xtjoe

Thanks,  Joe

  1. You are a mad man with a good eye and apparently new camera, LOL. Joe! Three blogs? I can barely manage one. Then again, I’m a slacker and you are anything but. Of course I will follow. How often I will get to my email is for now a sad state of affair. I will do my best, as you so warmly do. Cheers my friend!
